SmartPSS for Local CCTV Management
SmartPSS is separate from the DSS product family. It is Dahua client software used with supported Dahua equipment for straightforward local system operation, rather than the server-based unified security-management architecture provided by DSS.
Within Videcom's Dahua software offering, SmartPSS is suited to requirements centred primarily on local CCTV monitoring and management. Where a system needs greater scale, central services or wider security integration, DSS Express, DSS Professional or DSS Ultimate may provide a more appropriate management platform.
Videcom can advise whether SmartPSS is sufficient for a particular site or whether a DSS platform would provide a better long-term solution. The decision is based on system size, operator workflow, resilience, integration requirements and potential future expansion.
