4G CCTV working well for Safer Neighbourhoods :

After being supported with camera choice and location choice by Danny Harsley and the team at Videcom Security Ltd, Safer Neighbourhoods installed 4 new HD IP 4G Enabled Rapid-Deployment cameras in a host of hotspot areas.

The cameras have in the last four weeks had a huge impact and due to their superior image quality and we have been able to identify and take action against assaults, nuisance motorbikes, drug dealing and early identification of potential victims. Feedback from the community has been an increased feeling of safety and increased confidence in reporting crime and disorder issues.

Multilingual Camera Audio - Ipswich Borough Council:

Ipswich Borough Council (IBC) recently had a speaker system installed at two CCTV camera sites where low level anti-social behaviour is being experienced. The system was supplied and installed by Videcom Security Ltd and has already proven effective, however, to improve our ability to communicate with members of the public on site, IBC made a further request to allow us the ability to relay pre-recorded messages in multiple languages. It was essential that this system could link with our existing Dahua DSS software which meant that Videcom were required to build an audio file playing programme from scratch.

The new software was developed, supplied and tested in a timely and professional manner and, despite our requirements evolving during the course of the build, Videcom were able to adapt and improve the software to incorporate the additional functionality that we needed. In fact, the system now has functionality beyond what was originally specified which will allow us to develop how we use the system in the future.

Videcom Managers and Engineers were available throughout the build and installation process to provide support and technical advice and, once installed, they delivered comprehensive training to ensure our confidence in using the system.

Post installation, Videcom continue to make themselves available for support whenever required and camera operators are using the system confidently and effectively.

We had a look at the system, the installation and the Dahua cameras with your engineer yesterday. We are very pleased with it indeed and its very very neat job that was also delivered ahead of schedule and under difficult and challenging circumstances.

No snags identified, just a couple of small adjustments to the static cameras.

The Petwood Hotel had a dated system and required a partner to assess the business requirements and deliver a completely new solution.
The Petwood Hotel had a dated analogue CCTV solution that did not meet the current business needs to safeguard the business its staff and guests. We sought a partner to work with us to assess the business requirements, and plan and deliver a completely new setup.
The hotel is Grade II listed due to its significant historic connection in local history, the Second World War, and its recently restored Harold Peto designed garden which are also now Grade II listed with Historic Gardens. Videcom were with us every step of the way to ensure the solution delivered a vital balance between the functionality of the system and meeting the requirements to be compliant with the listings officers and blend it in with the fabric of the building.
Throughout the project each and every member of the Videcom team have delivered the highest levels of professionalism. They have worked around our busy business operation and minimised the impact of disruption to our staff, our guests, and worked with our existing technology partners to get the job done. We look forward to working with Videcom to continue to optimise and refine the solution in the future as the business security needs develop and grow.
A huge thanks to Danny and the team, we cannot thank you enough. It’s reassuring to know that we have found the right calibre of partner to help us protect the business and the people we care most about.
Our customer required the provision of a high quality CCTV system to cover an event being held in a field. Videcom was asked to consider the options available and provide and install a solution.
West Lindsey District Council CCTV Service has upgraded this week to Luxriot Evo Global. Great job provided by Videcom Security Ltd. This is an excellent tool that allows us to easily manage our public space CCTV cameras across multiple sites.
Videcom as a company, and their Engineers individually, were professional in both their approach and attitude in identifying the right solution for our needs and installing the system on a Sunday.
The quality of the cameras, equipment and picture clarity were excellent, as was the user friendly operating system. I would have no hesitation in using Videcom again in the future, and in fact already have them looking at other sites.
