Within the software range used by Videcom, DSS Ultimate sits above DSS Professional. It is intended for projects where scale, data capacity, resilience or operational complexity goes beyond a conventional enterprise security-management deployment.
Videcom would specify DSS Ultimate where the project genuinely requires this level of architecture. For many enterprise and multi-site systems DSS Professional remains the more appropriate platform, while Ultimate is aimed at the highest-capacity and most demanding environments.
