  • EVO-S is a stand-alone single server version of EVO, designed for smaller systems typically up to 96 video CCTV devices, where you need reliable, fast, easy to use advanced digital CCTV Video control and recording then EVO-S is your ideal system choice. For larger enterprise systems EVO Global should also be considered.
  • Can I view more than one Luxriot system from one PC ?
  • Yes. Luxriot EVO Monitor can connect to multiple Luxriot systems, making it practical for organisations managing more than one site. EVO S servers are configured individually using the Luxriot Console application.
  • What is the difference between EVO S and EVO Global ?
  • EVO S is the straightforward choice for a professional standalone Luxriot recording server. Multiple EVO S systems can be viewed by operators, but each server is managed individually.

    EVO Global is designed for larger organisations that want multiple servers and sites managed as one system, adding central management, organisation hierarchy and enterprise resilience features.

  • Do I have to replace all my cameras to use Luxriot ?
  • Usually not. Luxriot supports a very wide range of IP cameras, so existing cameras can often be retained when moving from another CCTV management platform. EVO is ONVIF compliant and also supports many cameras through manufacturer-specific drivers, as well as internal analogue capture cards and external video encoders.
  • Is EVO S right for me ?
  • If you are looking to purchase a future proofed reliable single server Video Management Solution which is easy to operate and install, and works with an extremely wide range of cameras, then yes EVO S is a good choice for you.
  • Can Luxriot run on my existing Windows server ?
  • In many cases, yes. Luxriot EVO runs on Windows and can often be installed on suitable existing hardware, subject to processor, memory, storage and camera load.
