  • Where can I buy EVO ?
  • Videcom are a trained certificated reseller of EVO and an OEM integrator of Luxriot software. Videcom are able to provide fully assembled systems or quotations for software only licensing. You can purchase your Luxriot EVO S though this website.
  • When should I choose EVO-S ?
  • EVO-S is a stand-alone single server version of EVO, designed for smaller systems typically up to 96 video CCTV devices, where you need reliable, fast, easy to use advanced digital CCTV Video control and recording then EVO-S is your ideal system choice. For larger enterprise systems EVO Global should also be considered.
  • Can I mix EVO S and Global ?
  • Yes EVO servers can all be viewed through centrally through the Monitor application, each EVO-S server though must be configured individually using the Luxriot Console application.
  • Can I re-use my current cameras ?
  • In most cases Yes, EVO is fully ONVIF compliant and also supports a very wide range cameras through manufacturer specific drivers. EVO also provides support for internal analogue capture cards and external video encoders.
  • Is EVO S right for me ?
  • If you are looking to purchase a future proofed reliable single server Video Management Solution which is easy to operate and install, and works with an extremely wide range of cameras, then yes EVO S is a good choice for you.
  • How do I get the updates ?
  • Luxriot EVO S updates are downloadable direct from the Luxriot main website. Download the latest installer that matches your current installation. Client or Console 32/64 bit. There is also a choice to download the NDAA compliant version designed for the American Market.

  • What is the Luxriot LPR Module ?
  • Luxriot LPR (License Plate Recognition) is designed to automatically detect, recognise and register vehicle number plates from CCTV video. It can be used for applications including vehicle access control, traffic monitoring and security.
  • Can Luxriot LPR work with my existing CCTV cameras ?
  • Luxriot LPR works alongside Luxriot EVO and can use cameras supported by the EVO system. The suitability and positioning of the camera is important for reliable number plate recognition, so please contact Videcom if you would like advice on your application.
  • What is the Luxriot FR Module ?
  • Luxriot FR (Face Recognition) is a biometric video analytics solution designed to work with Luxriot EVO. It can detect faces from video and perform face recognition and matching for security and other authorised applications.
  • Does Luxriot Face Recognition integrate with EVO ?
  • Yes. Face Recognition is designed to work with Luxriot EVO S and EVO Global systems, allowing recognition information to be used alongside your video surveillance system.
  • What is the Luxriot EVA Module ?
  • Luxriot EVA (Evo Video Analytics) uses artificial intelligence to analyse CCTV video and automatically detect and classify objects and events. It can identify objects such as people and vehicles and use this information to provide useful video analytics.
  • Can EVA generate alerts from video analytics ?
  • Yes. Luxriot EVA integrates with the EVO Event & Action system, allowing detected events to be used to generate alerts and notifications. Analytics can be configured using familiar tools such as detection zones, lines and counters.
  • What do I do if my subscriptions have expired ?
  • There is no need to worry.
    Simply contact our sales department along with your licence number number and number of channels and we will provide you with a quotation to get you updated.

  • What if I did not buy my licence through Videcom ?
  • Not a problem, simply contact us with your licence details and licence number. We will verify the licence details and provide a subscription quotation based on the number of channels and years of subscription you require.

  • What happens if I do not update subscriptions ?
  • Nothing, your current version software will continue to operate and the system will remain fully operational.

    BUT and importantly:
    You will not be able to take advantage of latest Luxriot software updates and features. Luxriot will not offer the same level of technical support. Should there be an issue or a change with your server hardware you will not be able to reset and re-apply your licence.
