AI processing is now available across a wide range of professional recording platforms. Depending on the project, intelligence may be provided by the camera, the recorder or a dedicated intelligent server, with the architecture chosen according to camera count, analytics load, storage and resilience requirements.
Current IVSS51 and IVSS71 series platforms support scalable IP video recording and intelligent processing for professional systems. Videcom specifies the appropriate current platform against recording period, bandwidth, storage, redundancy and analytics workload rather than relying on historic model and channel tables.
The operator experience is equally important. IVSS can operate as the recording and AI layer beneath Dahua DSS Professional, with DSS providing central live viewing, playback, alarms, users and wider system management. Videcom configures the complete workflow so recording, search and events remain practical for operators.
