Equipment Disposal
Videcom can arrange secure and environmentally responsible disposal and recycling of redundant IT and security equipment, including servers, workstations, cameras, recorders and other electronic devices. Where equipment contains storage media or customer data, appropriate secure data destruction or sanitisation can be included as part of the disposal process. Documentation or certificates of destruction can be provided where available and required.
The Costs
As all systems are different, and may have particular requirements, including the amount and type of equipment to be disposed of, we normally make allowances for providing this service on a per Customer Job basis. If identified at the Quotation stage, this will be shown as an itemised cost. Otherwise, other options may be available including leaving the old equipment with the customer to be disposed of under the WEEE regulations.
